Upon successfully completing this course, you will become USCCA Certified Instructor, uniquely authorized to teach the USCCA course, Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals. This course has become the gold standard across the United States for law abiding Americans seeking to obtain their concealed carry permit. As a USCCA certified instructor, you will be trained and equipped to provide world-class instruction to students. You will have access to our world class classroom materials (including a full set of PowerPoint presentations and classroom videos). During this two-day training course, you’ll be taught by a USCCA Training Counselor on a number of valuable topics, including: The top ten instructor mistakes, and how to avoid them; teaching best practices; and running a safe live fire range. You’ll also have a chance to demonstrate your knowledge of the USCCA training material through seven short presentations to a group of your peers, as well as running a live fire range, guiding your peers through the safe completion of the USCCA course of fire. After completion of this course, you’ll not only be intimately familiar with the USCCA training methodology and materials, you’ll be a far better instructor and presenter, regardless of the topic of choice.
The NRA Pistol Instructor Course is intended to teach the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to organizing, promoting and teaching the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course. This course is presented over 2 days, and is formatted in two parts: basic instructor training, and discipline specific (Pistol) instructor training. Candidates will demonstrate organizational and teaching skills via participation in practical exercises during the course, and complete an instructor certification examination.
Prerequisite: Must Have Completed NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting – (ILT) within the last two years.
The NRA Home Firearm Safety Instructor Course is intended to teach the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to organizing, promoting and teaching the NRA Basic Home Firearm Safety Course. This course is presented over 2 days, and is formatted in two parts: basic instructor training, and discipline specific (HFS) instructor training. Students demonstrate organizational and teaching skills via participation in practical exercises during the course, and complete an instructor certification examination.
The NRA CCW Instructor Course is intended to train candidates how to teach the principals of carrying and using a concealed pistol ethically and responsibly. This 2-day course consists of: CCW specific (classroom) instructor training and Live-Fire Range instructor training. Candidates will be able to explain and demonstrate the following: How to apply the Rules for Safe Gun Handling when carrying a concealed firearm, basic principles of concealment, drawing from the holster, levels of awareness, and proper mindset when using a pistol for personal defense, and more.
Prerequisites: Must be an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, and must have successfully completed the NRA Basic CCW Course.
The NRA Rifle Instructor Course is intended to teach the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to organizing, promoting and teaching the NRA Rifle Shooting Course. This course is presented over 2 days, and is formatted in two parts: basic instructor training, and discipline specific (Rifle) instructor training. Candidates will demonstrate organizational and teaching skills via participation in practical exercises during the course, and complete an instructor certification examination.
Prerequisite: Must Have Completed NRA Basics of Rifle Shooting Course within the last two years.
The NRA-NMLRA Muzzleloading Instructor Course is intended to teach the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to organizing, promoting and teaching the NRA-NMLRA Basic Muzzleloading Shooting course. This course is presented over 2 days and only covers discipline specific (NRA-NMLRA Muzzleloading) instructor training. Basic Instructor Training (B.I.T.) is not included. Candidates will demonstrate organizational and teaching skills via participation in practical exercises during the course, and complete an instructor certification examination.
Prerequisites: Must have successfully completed the NRA-NMLRA Basics of Muzzleloading Shooting Course
The NRA Shotgun Instructor Course is intended to teach the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to organizing, promoting and teaching the NRA Shotgun Shooting Course. This course is presented over 2 days, and is formatted in two parts: basic instructor training, and discipline specific (Shotgun) instructor training. Candidates will demonstrate organizational and teaching skills via participation in practical exercises during the course, and complete an instructor certification examination.
Prerequisite: Must Have Completed NRA Shotgun Shooting Course within the last two years.
The NRA Personal Protection In The Home Instructor Course is intended to teach the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to organizing, promoting and teaching the NRA Basic Personal Protection In The Home course. This course is presented over 2 days, and is formatted in two parts: basic instructor training, and discipline specific (PPITH) instructor training. Candidates will demonstrate organizational and teaching skills via participation in practical exercises during the course, and complete an instructor certification examination.
Prerequisites: Must be an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor and have successfully completed the NRA Basics of Personal Protection In The Home Course with a score of 90% or higher.
The NRA Personal Protection Outside The Home Instructor Course is intended to teach the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to organizing, promoting and teaching the NRA Basic Personal Protection Outside The Home course. This course is presented over 2 days and only covers discipline specific (PPOTH) instructor training. Basic Instructor Training (B.I.T.) is not included. Candidates will demonstrate organizational and teaching skills via participation in practical exercises during the course, and complete an instructor certification examination.
Prerequisites: Must be an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, an NRA Certified PPITH Instructor and have successfully completed the NRA Basics of Personal Protection Outside The Home Course with a score of 90% or higher.
